The Babydoll fleeces offered are from this springs shearing. My sheep are not coated and are on pasture 365 days a year. They are fed hay during breeding and during the winter. I do make an effort to not have the majority of the hay wind up on their backs while feeding; however, there will be VM in their fleeces, some more than others. The poo and other undesirables are hand skirted. The price reflects this "hands-on processing" from you. I leave the majority of the fleece so you can decide what to process as its great for the gardens and several other uses.
